ONLINE AUCTION TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Bidding
“” runs online auctions. We can arrange absentee bids on your behalf or
you can bid online at www.liveauctioneers.com or www.invaluable.com. We do not accept phone bidding at this time. “” makes every effort to execute all bids. “” cannot be held responsible for missed bids or failure to execute your bid. All absentee and online bidders are required to sign, agreeing to our terms and provide credit card information. In the case of a disputed bid, “” shall have sole discretion in determining the purchaser and may also withdraw the lot or re-offer the lot for sale. “” has sole discretion to refuse any bid, or refuse to acknowledge any bidder. “” reserves the right to not accept a bid or to withdraw an item for any reason.
All sales final. We do not accept returns and do not give refunds. If you cannot keep the item you purchased, after payment, we can sell it again for you without having the item shipped to you.
2. Payment
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice and must be received within 5 days of the auction. We accept payment in cash, check, wire transfer and most credit cards.
All sales are subject to 6.25% Massachusetts sales tax unless the buyer holds a valid Massachusetts Sales and Use Tax resale form, other state’s resale certificate and submits a signed copy of the Massachusetts Sales and Use tax resale form. We do not collect sales tax on items shipped out of state. If paying thru paypal, we do not ship to an address that is not associated with that account.
3. Descriptions
All goods are sold “as is” “Where is” and all sales are final. “” is not responsible for any warranties of any kind, including age, origin, condition, restoration, dimensions, authenticity, provenance or authorship. An item’s description is “” opinion and do not represent a guarantee. “” cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies of any kind. We encourage a thorough inspection, and questions or requests for additional information or images are also encouraged. All items are available for further examination prior to bidding along with all questions about an item(s) will be answered 24 hours up until the sale begins. Your bidding will signify that you have examined the items, or that you have chosen not to examine them further.
4. Buyer’s Premium
A buyer’s premium of 25% is added to all hammer prices. The hammer price is the selling price, the additions of the 25% buyer’s premium and sales tax, if applicable to the hammer price becomes the total final purchase price. Please note that there is not an up charge when using the online bidding platform.
5. Shipping
The shipping of items, both arrangement and costs of shipping, are the responsibility of the buyer. “” provides in house shipping on most items that aren’t of freight sizing. On larger items we can arrange professional shipping solutions. Unfortunately, at this time items and cannot be picked up.
